The HP OmniBook X is a 16.0 inch 2-in-1 laptop built around an AMD Ryzen AI 5 430 quad-core processor that reaches 4.5 GHz and provides 50 NPU TOPS for local AI workloads. It ships with 16GB of LPDDR5 memory soldered to the board and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, running Windows 11 Pro on a 1920 x 1200 OLED touchscreen rated at 300 nits. The silver chassis uses a 178-degree hinge for laptop, stand and tablet modes.

Integrated graphics and fixed memory

AMD Radeon 840M integrated graphics handle the display output, so no discrete GPU slot or external power connector is required. Memory is not upgradable beyond the factory 16GB, and storage uses a single M.2 PCIe 4.0 slot already occupied by the 2TB drive. Connectivity relies on Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0; wired Ethernet is not included. Two Thunderbolt 4 ports at 40Gbps, two USB Type-A ports at 10Gbps, HDMI 2.1 and a combo audio jack provide the physical I/O.

Sustained workloads on a 65 Wh battery

The 4-cell 65 Wh polymer battery powers the 60 Hz OLED panel and the 4.09 lb chassis during extended sessions. Thermal management is handled within the 0.6 inch thin profile without user-serviceable fans. Under continuous multi-threaded load the quad-core CPU and integrated graphics share the same thermal envelope, so clock speeds will settle below the 4.5 GHz boost. The 5MP IR webcam with HDR and Poly Studio dual speakers remain active during long video calls.
