It uses the ASIX AX99100 controller with 256-byte transmit FIFO and works on Intel, AMD and ARM platforms. PCI Express x1 Interface

Installation requires an empty PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot on the motherboard. Drivers must be installed from the included mini-CD for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8.x, 10 and 11 in 32-bit and 64-bit editions. Linux kernels 2.6.x through 5.x need the driver compiled from source code on the disc.
