The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 packs dual Xeon E5-2670 v3 processors with twelve cores each at 2.3 GHz into a 1U chassis. Eight gigabytes of DDR4 ECC registered memory are installed across twenty-four DIMM slots. The Smart HBA H240ar controller provides twelve-gigabit SAS and six-gigabit SATA connectivity with RAID zero, one, five, six, ten, fifty and sixty support.

Verify rack depth and power

Confirm the rack can accommodate the full depth of a 1U unit and that the power distribution units deliver the required voltage for two 500-watt redundant hot-swap supplies. The embedded four-port 331i adapter uses one-gigabit Ethernet; ensure the network infrastructure matches this speed. No drives are included, so source compatible three-and-a-half-inch SAS or SATA media separately.

Expands memory and storage

Twenty-four DIMM slots allow growth up to three terabytes of DDR4 when all slots are populated with supported modules.
