The DL360 Gen9 is a 1U rack system; you must supply a standard rack with sufficient depth and compatible sliding rails for installation.

Can the B140i controller manage the existing 2.5-inch SATA drives together with larger capacity SATA drives I may add later?

Yes, the B140i Software RAID supports RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 across SATA drives; the two installed 500 GB 7.2K drives can be grouped with any additional SATA drives you populate in the remaining six 2.5-inch bays.

How can I confirm the two Xeon E5-2643 v3 processors and all 96 GB of DDR4 memory are recognised after power-on?

During POST the system BIOS lists each processor by model and core count and reports the total installed memory; you can also verify both CPUs and the full 96 GB in the iLO 4 web interface or the operating system once it boots.
