Dense 1U Rack Server

The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 is a 1U rack server built for environments where rack space is at a premium. It ships with a single Intel Xeon E5-2620 v3 six-core processor at 2.4GHz and 32GB of DDR4 memory. The platform supports a second processor to reach 36 total cores and 3TB maximum memory across 24 DIMM slots. It targets virtualisation hosts, database nodes and compute clusters that need density.

Redundant 500W Power and Thermal Design

Two hot-swap 500W power supplies provide full redundancy so a single failure does not take the system offline. The 1U chassis uses managed airflow to cool the CPU, memory and eight drive bays within a shallow profile. Fan speeds adjust to workload, keeping acoustic output low during typical operation while maintaining thermal headroom for sustained loads.

Eight SFF Bays and H240ar Controller

The front panel holds eight 2.5-inch SFF drive trays with screws included; no drives are installed. The Smart HBA H240ar controller delivers 12Gb SAS and 6Gb SATA connectivity with support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. An optional universal media bay or two extra SFF bays can expand capacity. Matrox G200 graphics with 16MB memory handles basic console output.
