It targets buyers who need a compact rackmount platform with redundant power and hardware RAID for mixed storage arrays. Redundant hot-swap power and four LFF drive bays

Two 500 W redundant hot-swap power supplies keep the system running during a module failure. Four 3.5-inch large-form-factor bays hold the two included 4 TB 7.2K SAS drives and leave two bays open for expansion. The Smart HBA H240ar controller provides 12 Gb SAS and 6 Gb SATA connectivity with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 support. No optical drive or media bay is present.

Single E5-2620 v3 with maxed memory slots

The installed processor delivers six cores and twelve threads at 2.4 GHz, and the 64 GB of DDR4 already occupies the maximum capacity supported by this CPU. All 24 memory slots are populated, so any future memory increase requires a second processor and higher-capacity modules. The Matrox G200 GPU handles basic console output only.
