Sustained thermal headroom

Two 500 W redundant hot-swap power supplies feed the chassis while eight SFF drive bays and 24 DIMM slots share the same airflow path. The installed 146 GB 15 K SAS drives and H240ar controller maintain 12 Gb/s SAS throughput during extended write-heavy runs without throttling. Memory operates at up to 2400 MT/s limited by the processor capability, so sustained bandwidth stays predictable.

Tool-less service access

The chassis opens without tools and the H240ar RAID controller is configured through the embedded UEFI utility before the OS loads. Drive trays are included only with the two factory SAS drives; additional bays require separate tray purchases. No operating system ships with the unit, so plan for a separate installation media and driver bundle.
