Redundant power and flexible drive bays

Two hot-swap 500W supplies provide N+1 redundancy without external UPS dependency. Four large-form-factor 3.5-inch bays accept the included 1TB 7.2K SAS drives on a Smart HBA H240ar controller with 12Gb SAS and 6Gb SATA links. The H240ar frees the CPU from RAID parity calculations across RAID 0/1/5/6/10/50/60 levels.

Four terabytes raw with room to grow

The four 1TB SAS drives deliver 4TB raw capacity for nearline datasets, virtualisation datastores or backup targets. Memory headroom reaches 3TB total across both processor sockets when the second Xeon is added. Buyers who need all-flash performance or more than four drive bays will require a different chassis.
