1U rack server for dense compute

The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 fits a single Intel Xeon E5-2670 v3 twelve-core processor at 2.3 GHz with 64 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory in a 1U chassis. Two 600 GB 15 K 3.5-inch SAS drives connect through a Smart HBA H240ar controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Redundant hot-swap 500 W power supplies are included.

Memory ceiling fixed at installed capacity

The server provides 24 DIMM slots yet the specification lists a maximum memory capacity of 64 GB, matching the amount already installed. This means no further DDR4 modules can be added regardless of the available slots, so the configuration suits workloads that fit within that limit and not those that require expansion beyond it.

Four 3.5-inch drive bays cap local storage
