Eight SFF drive bays with H240ar controller

Eight 2.5-inch SFF bays connect to the Smart HBA H240ar controller supporting SAS at 12 Gb/s and SATA at 6 Gb/s with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Expandable memory and processor headroom

The server includes 24 DDR4 DIMM slots, twelve per processor, allowing growth up to the platform maximum when a second CPU is added. The H240ar controller frees internal PCIe slots for additional networking or acceleration cards. Matrox G200 graphics with 16 MB video memory handles basic console output without consuming a slot. No drives or operating system are included, so the build starts with storage and software selection.
