Compact 1U rack server for core workloads

This HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 fits a single Xeon E5-2643 v3 six-core processor at 3.4 GHz and 4 GB of DDR4 memory into a 1U chassis with redundant hot-swap power. Two 300 GB 15 K SAS drives and a Smart HBA H240ar controller provide hardware RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. The 4-bay LFF cage accepts 3.5-inch drives.

Suits single-socket deployments needing dense

The installed CPU uses one of two sockets and memory is limited to the fitted 4 GB, so environments that require dual-processor throughput or large memory footprints should consider other configurations. Buyers who need more than four drive bays or integrated graphics beyond the Matrox G200 will also need a different platform.

The four-bay LFF cage decides storage capacity

Only four 3.5-inch SAS or SATA drives can be installed internally, capping raw capacity at the number of bays multiplied by the largest supported drive. The H240ar controller handles RAID across those bays but cannot address additional backplanes.
