1U 8-bay rack server

This HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 is a 1U rack-mount server system fitted with a single Intel Xeon E5-2643 v3 six-core processor running at 3.4GHz. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 memory installed across its 24 DIMM slots and includes two 1TB 7.2K SAS drives. The Smart HBA H240ar controller provides RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 support. Dual 500W redundant hot-swap power supplies are fitted.

Suits single-processor SAS workloads

Organisations needing a compact 1U platform for virtualisation, database or general compute tasks using SAS storage will find the installed CPU, memory and dual-drive configuration ready to deploy. Buyers who require dual-processor performance from day one, more than two drives populated, or a different drive interface should look at other configurations. 24 DIMM slots DDR4 max 3TB

The motherboard provides 24 DDR4 slots with a maximum supported capacity of 3TB when both processor sockets are occupied. With one processor installed, 12 slots are active and the installed 32GB uses a portion of this headroom. Memory speed reaches 2400MT/s depending on the processor capability.
