Dense 1U compute platform

The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 fits a dual-socket Intel Xeon E5 v3 platform into a single rack unit. One eight-core 2.6 GHz processor and 128 GB of DDR4 ECC memory are installed, leaving a second socket and twelve DIMM slots open for expansion. It targets workloads that need high core density in limited rack space.

Storage controller and drives

A Smart HBA H240ar provides 12 Gb SAS and 6 Gb SATA connectivity with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 support. Two 146 GB 15 K SAS drives ship in the front bays, delivering low-latency spindle performance for boot or scratch volumes. Six additional 2.5-inch bays remain free for capacity growth.

Redundant power and management

Dual hot-swap 500 W power supplies maintain uptime during a module failure or maintenance window. The embedded Matrox G200 graphics and integrated management processor allow headless operation and remote console access.
