B140i software RAID limited to SATA drives

The B140i controller provides RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 exclusively for SATA devices, so the storage tier cannot address SAS or NVMe media. Eight SFF bays hold the two installed 500 GB 7.2 K drives and accept additional SATA SSDs or HDDs up to the bay limit.
