This 2U rack server ships with two Intel Xeon E5-2609v3 six-core processors at 1.9GHz and 16GB of DDR4 memory. It includes two 1TB 7.2K 2.5-inch SAS drives managed by a Smart HBA H240ar controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Dual 500W hot-swap power supplies provide redundancy. The unit is sold new without an operating system.

The eight small-form-factor bays and 24 DIMM slots allow significant expansion within a 2U footprint. Organisations needing GPU acceleration, NVMe boot drives or single-thread performance above 1.9GHz should evaluate other platforms.
