Redundant power and 24-bay SFF storage

Two hot-swap 500 W power supplies provide N+1 redundancy without downtime during module replacement. The front panel holds 24 small-form-factor 2.5-inch drive bays with trays and screws supplied, while an embedded four-port 1 Gb 331i adapter handles baseline network connectivity.

P440 RAID controller with flash-backed cache

The Smart Array P440 includes 4 GB of flash-backed write cache and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across 12 Gb/s SAS links. This hardware RAID engine offloads parity calculations from the CPUs and protects in-flight data during unexpected power loss.
