Storage limited to SATA drives on the B140i

The integrated B140i controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 but only with SATA drives; SAS and NVME devices are not supported on this controller. Eight 2.5-inch small-form-factor bays are populated with empty trays, so you must supply your own drives. Maximum installed memory is capped at 128GB across 24 DIMM slots, and the Matrox G200eH2 graphics chip provides only 16MB of video memory for basic console output.

Verify rack depth, drive selection

Before ordering, confirm that your rack can accommodate a 2U chassis with redundant hot-swap power supplies and that you have a plan for SATA SSDs or HDDs to fill the eight bays. The server arrives without an operating system, so licences and installation media must be prepared separately. Memory expansion beyond 128GB is not possible on this specific build, and the single Matrox GPU rules out any graphical workload acceleration.
