Redundant 500 W power supplies and H240ar controller

Two hot-swap 500 W power supplies deliver redundant power for continuous operation. The Smart HBA H240ar controller provides 12 Gb SAS and 6 Gb SATA connectivity with support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Onboard graphics are handled by a Matrox G200eH2 chip with 16 MB of video memory for basic display output. The server ships without an operating system or installed drives.

8 SFF drive bays with NVME expansion option

Eight 2.5-inch small form factor drive bays are populated with trays and screws, ready for SAS or SATA drives. Bay 2 can alternatively accept up to six NVME drives or a second eight-bay cage for 16 or 24 total bays. Bay 3 supports an optional universal media bay. This configuration does not suit buyers who require 3.5-inch drive support or more than eight bays without adding cages.
