12-bay LFF SAS storage

Twelve 3.5-inch large-form-factor drive bays accept SAS and SATA drives through the Smart HBA H240ar controller. The controller provides 12Gb SAS and 6Gb SATA connectivity with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 support. Two 300GB 15K SAS drives are installed.

8GB base memory, 3TB ceiling

The system includes 8GB across 24 DIMM slots, 12 per processor, and supports up to 3TB using 64GB modules at 2400MT/s. Buyers who need large in-memory datasets must populate additional slots. No operating system is included.
