Smart Array P440 SAS RAID limits

The installed Smart Array P440 controller with 4GB flash-backed write cache manages two 146GB 15K 6Gbps SAS drives in the front bays. The controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across the 24 SFF drive bays. Maximum memory capacity is capped at 48GB with the current single-processor configuration.

Redundant power and 24-bay density

Dual hot-swap 500W power supplies provide redundancy for continuous operation. The 2U chassis fits 24 small-form-factor drive bays with an optional rear cage for two more. Integrated Matrox G200eH2 graphics handles basic display output without a discrete GPU.
