The chassis occupies 2U and requires a rack deep enough for its length; confirm your PDUs can feed two 500 W hot-swap supplies on the appropriate connectors. Only one CPU is installed but the board accepts a second E5-2600 v3 or v4 processor, and the 24 DIMM slots support up to 3 TB total when fully populated with compatible DDR4 modules up to 2400 MT/s.

Eight-bay front access with room to grow

Eight 2.5-inch SFF bays sit behind a lockable bezel; two are filled with the supplied SAS drives and trays, leaving six open for expansion or for optional NVMe, universal media or additional eight-bay kits in bays two and three. Redundant power supplies and fans are hot-swappable from the rear, while the Matrox G200eH2 graphics chip provides basic KVM-over-IP console access without a dedicated GPU.
