The Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000 adds 16 GB GDDR6 on a 256-bit bus and four DisplayPort 1.4 outputs plus VirtualLink. A 500 W 90 % efficient supply powers the build.

Replaces an older tower that struggles

The 16 GB Quadro RTX 5000 removes the frame-buffer bottleneck that forces texture downgrades in CAD, DCC, and VR review workflows. Moving from 8 GB or less lets you keep full-resolution assets in VRAM without paging to system memory. The jump is worth it when current projects exceed 8 GB VRAM or when ISV certification for the RTX 5000 is required.

Fits a mid-tower chassis

The card occupies a double-width slot and drives four DP 1.4 heads directly, freeing the motherboard video outputs for a fifth display if needed. Four DIMM slots are already populated with 8 GB modules, so further memory expansion means replacing modules rather than adding. The 2 TB NVMe drive uses the primary M.2 slot; additional storage would require a 2.5-inch bay or PCIe add-in card.
