Professional tower workstation

The HP Z240 Tower Workstation is a new business desktop built around an Intel Core i7-6700 processor with 32GB DDR4 memory. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 drives two DisplayPort outputs and a DVI-I port for multi-display setups. Windows 10 Professional 64-bit comes pre-installed.

Verify your mains supply matches the unit and that your monitors accept DisplayPort or DVI-I signals. The system includes a DVD-RW slim optical drive and offers six USB 3.0 ports plus four USB 2.0 ports for peripherals. No discrete graphics card is fitted, so 3D workloads rely on the integrated GPU.

Expand storage and add-in cards

Two 3.5-inch and one 2.5-inch internal bays sit alongside a 9.5 mm optical bay and two 5.25-inch half-height bays for extra drives. Five PCIe expansion slots accept additional controllers or specialist cards. The existing 1TB SSD plus 1TB HDD combination already provides fast boot and large capacity storage.
