Dual Xeon Gold 5122 workstation

The HP Z8 G4 is a new rackmount workstation equipped with two Intel Xeon Gold 5122 processors running at 3.60GHz. Each CPU delivers 18 cores for a combined total of 36 cores. The system ships with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB SSD. An NVIDIA Quadro P4000 graphics card with 8GB GDDR5 handles professional visual workloads. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled.

Expansion bays and memory headroom

Four 3.5-inch drive bays allow additional local storage to be added without external enclosures. The DDR4 memory can be expanded up to 1536GB across the available slots. Both processor sockets are populated, so no further CPU upgrades are possible. The dedicated Quadro P4000 occupies a PCIe slot and drives multiple displays for CAD, rendering and content creation workflows.
