The HP Z8 G4 is a new tower workstation built around two Intel Xeon Gold 6148 processors, each running at 2.40 GHz with 20 cores. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB NVMe drive. The NVIDIA RTX A5000 adds 16 GB of video memory for GPU-accelerated workloads.

LGA 3647 platform limits

The dual-socket LGA 3647 board supports a maximum of two processors and 24 memory slots, allowing expansion up to 3 TB of RAM. Storage uses a Serial ATA 600 controller with RAID 0, 1 and 10 support. The PC4-2666 memory standard sets the installed memory speed.

RTX A5000 GPU decides fit
