Suits virtualisation hosts, not GPU workloads

This blade fits organisations that run many virtual machines or containers on a single chassis and rely on the 20 Gb FlexFabric adapter for network throughput. It is not suited for workloads that require dedicated graphics acceleration or more than two internal 2.5-inch drives, because the form factor only supports that drive count and the graphics subsystem is integrated only.

The installed Smart Array P204i-b SR controller manages exactly two 2.5-inch 900 GB SAS hard drives spinning at 10 000 rpm, giving 1.8 TB of raw capacity in a mirrored or striped array. No additional drive bays exist in this half-height blade, so storage expansion must come from shared arrays or external enclosures rather than internal slots.
