This rack-mount server ships with two Intel Xeon E5-2697 v4 processors running at 2.3GHz and 768GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. It is built for virtualization hosts, database clusters or compute-heavy workloads that need high core counts and large memory capacity in a 2U form factor.

P440 SAS controller with four 3.5-inch drive bays

The installed HPE Smart Array P440 manages up to four large-form-factor drives through SAS or SATA interfaces. No drives are included, so buyers must supply their own storage media to complete the array.

Slide-in chassis with iLO remote management

The server mounts on standard rack rails and uses hot-plug 500W flex-slot power supplies for easy service. Firmware and BIOS are updated before dispatch. Integrated graphics and a single 1GbE 2-port adapter limit display and network expansion unless additional cards are fitted.
