The HPE P24466B21 is a new Intel Xeon Gold 5218R built for HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 servers. It delivers 20 cores and 40 threads at a 2.10 GHz base clock with a 4 GHz overclocking speed. The 27.50 MB L3 cache and 14 nm process suit multi-threaded workloads in compatible HPE environments.
Memory controller integration
The integrated DDR4 2666 memory controller removes the need for a separate northbridge component. This direct connection reduces latency between the 20 cores and system memory. The 64-bit processing capability is native to the architecture and requires no extra software to activate.
Socket 3647 thermal envelope
