General-purpose 1U rack server

The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 ships as a complete 1U rackmount system with a single Intel Xeon Silver 4510 12-core processor at 2.40 GHz and 64 GB of HPE DDR5 Smart Memory in two 32 GB modules. Two 4 TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7.2K LFF drives are pre-installed behind an embedded SATA controller. Dual 800 W Flex Slot Platinum hot-plug supplies and five hot-swap fans provide redundant power and cooling out of the box.

Expansion and networking headroom

The chassis offers up to three PCIe Gen5 slots and two OCP 3.0 PCIe5 slots for additional storage, GPU or networking cards. A Broadcom BCM5719 1 GbE 4-port BASE-T OCP3 adapter occupies one OCP bay, leaving the second free for a higher-speed or specialised network module. The embedded SATA controller manages the installed drives without consuming a PCIe slot, keeping expansion lanes available for other workloads.

Thermal, acoustic and power profile

Five standard hot-swap fans maintain airflow across the CPU, memory and drive bays under typical general-purpose loads. The 800 W Platinum supplies share load and allow one unit to be replaced without downtime.
