Dual-socket Xeon 4114 server

The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 arrives with two Intel Xeon Silver 4114 processors running at 2.2GHz, each providing 10 cores and 13.75MB cache. 128GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory is installed across the available slots. Integrated graphics handle basic display output while the Smart Array P408 SAS controller manages storage connectivity. This configuration targets virtualization hosts, database nodes, or compute clusters that need strong multi-threaded throughput in a 2U rack footprint.

Build integration requirements

The chassis supports up to eight 2.5-inch drive bays and accepts SAS drives through the installed P408 controller. Two 500W Flex Slot power supplies provide redundant power without occupying PCIe slots. Network connectivity includes two 10GbE and two 1GbE ports via the Intel I350/X540 adapter. Remote management runs through HPE iLO Advanced for out-of-band control. Maximum memory capacity reaches 3TB when all DIMM slots are populated. Rail kit mounting hardware is available separately for rack installation.

Bundled controller and management

The Smart Array P408 controller enables hardware RAID across the drive bays, freeing CPU cycles from parity calculations. HPE iLO Advanced provides dedicated remote console, virtual media, and firmware update capabilities independent of the operating system. Dual power supplies allow hot-swap replacement during maintenance windows. The network adapter delivers both high-throughput and management traffic on separate physical ports. No storage drives are included, so the RAID configuration and capacity remain fully customizable at deployment.
