The included HPE MR416i-a controller delivers x16 lanes of PCIe Gen4 bandwidth with 4 GB cache and supports NVMe, SAS and SATA drives in the eight small-form-factor bays. Two processor sockets are available on the board, so a second Xeon can be added later, while the OCP 3.0 slot leaves networking choices open.
