Four standard hot-swap fans maintain airflow through the 2U chassis under typical loads. The single installed processor has a thermal design power of 150 W. Redundant power is supplied by two 1000 W Flex Slot Titanium hot-plug power supplies. The Broadcom BCM5719 1Gb 4-port BASE-T OCP3 adapter handles network connectivity without adding significant thermal load.

MR416i-o Controller Benefits

The HPE MR416i-o Gen11 storage controller connects via x16 lanes and includes 8 GB of cache with OCP SPDM support. This hardware RAID controller manages the installed SATA drives and supports additional storage expansion. The server offers up to eight PCIe Gen5 slots and two OCP 3.0 slots for further I/O scaling. Optional accelerators can be added for specialised workloads.
