The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen9 8SFF is a dual-socket rack server designed for virtualisation, database and general compute workloads. It ships with two Intel Xeon E5-2630 v3 processors and 256GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory.

Drive bay constraint

The chassis provides eight 2.5-inch SFF bays but no drives are installed, so you must supply SATA or SAS media. The onboard Smart Array P440 controller manages RAID across those bays.

Rack integration notes

Standard rack rails are required and may need to be sourced separately for your cabinet depth. Dual 500W power supplies are already fitted, and iLO remote management is configured for out-of-band access.
