The HyperX 3K SH103S3/240G is a 240GB internal solid-state drive built for consumer desktops and laptops. It uses MLC memory and a SandForce controller behind a SATA III interface. The drive ships as a stand-alone unit without a mounting bracket or cable.

MLC memory provides higher write endurance than entry-level TLC alternatives, while the SATA III link caps peak throughput at 555 MB/s read and 510 MB/s write. Random 4K performance reaches 86,000 IOPS read and 60,000 IOPS write, with sustained figures of 40,000/57,000 IOPS.

Stand-alone drive packaging
