This full-metal backplane cage fits a single external 5.25" bay and holds two 2.5" SATA or SAS drives alongside one slim optical disk drive. It is built for medical, military, media-server and industrial PC deployments that demand rugged construction and physical drive security.

SATA 6Gbps or SAS 12Gbps Dual Channel

The interface tops out at 12Gbps per channel, so 15000 RPM SAS drives will not exceed this ceiling. Only 2.5" drives from 5mm to 15mm thick are supported; 3.5" drives and M.2 modules cannot be installed in this cage.
