The Inctel B16-i3 8145U is a fanless Mini PC built around an Intel Core i3 8145U processor with two cores and four threads. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 128GB SSD, running Windows 10 Pro out of the box. The silver alloy chassis uses passive cooling to stay completely silent during operation.

Sustained load on a 15W passive design

The Whiskey Lake CPU has a base frequency of 2.10GHz and can reach 3.9GHz for short bursts, but the fanless chassis limits how long it can hold higher speeds. Under continuous multi-threaded work the processor will throttle to stay within its 15W TDP, so long renders or heavy compiles run slower than on actively cooled systems. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles 1080p playback and 4K streams without issue.

Straightforward installation with limited expansion

The unit arrives fully assembled with the operating system activated, so first boot only requires a display, keyboard and mouse. Two SODIMM slots support up to 64GB of DDR4, while one mSATA and one M.2 slot accept SATA or NVMe drives for extra storage. Buyers who need discrete graphics, additional PCIe cards or more than two display outputs should look elsewhere.
