Server motherboard for dual Xeon E5-2600

The Intel S2600WP uses the C600-A chipset and an LGA2011 socket to support two Xeon E5-2600 series processors. It is aimed at builders assembling a 2U rack system that needs up to 500 GB of DDR3 ECC memory running at 800, 1066 or 1333 MHz.

Sustained load behaviour

Two sockets and ECC DDR3 keep data integrity intact during long compute runs. The ServerEngines Pilot III graphics controller with 128 Mb DDR2 video memory handles console output without taxing the main processors. Software RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 across one SATA-600 and four SATA-300 ports maintains storage redundancy under continuous write cycles.
