The iStorage diskAshur PRO2 provides 4TB of hardware-encrypted storage in a 2.5-inch graphite enclosure. A built-in keypad requires a 7-15 digit PIN before the drive becomes visible to the host. No software installation is needed, so it works on any device with a USB port including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and embedded systems.

FIPS 140-2 Level 3 upgrade

This drive replaces standard portable hard drives when regulatory compliance or physical security is mandatory. It is certified to FIPS 140-2 Level 3 and uses a Common Criteria EAL5+ ready secure microprocessor with AES-XTS 256-bit encryption validated to FIPS PUB 197. The jump is worth it for organisations handling GDPR, HIPAA or CCPA data who cannot risk software-only encryption or unprotected media.

Sustained transfer and rugged use

Sequential reads reach 361 MB/s and writes 358 MB/s over the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, maintaining throughput during large backups. An IP56 rating protects against dust and water jets while the drive operates or rests in its carry case.
