Three drives can operate simultaneously using the dual-head IDE connector and SATA interface. The adapter suits technicians and hobbyists recovering data or repurposing legacy drives.

Before You Order

Verify that your host computer has a free USB 3.0 port for full 5 Gbps speed, though USB 2.0 and 1.1 also work. Ensure the target drives are standard 2.5in or 3.5in SATA or IDE models with 40-pin, 44-pin or SATA connectors. The included 12 V 2 A power adapter and 4-pin cable must match the drive power requirements. No driver installation is needed for Windows, Mac, Linux or Chrome OS.

Thermals Noise and Power

The adapter draws power from the external 12 V 2 A supply, keeping drive electronics outside the computer chassis.
