This internal solid-state drive uses the M.2 2280 form factor and a PCI-Express 5.0 x4 interface with NVMe 2.0 protocol. It delivers sequential reads up to 14700 MBps and writes up to 14000 MBps using 3D NAND flash. The drive ships without a heatsink.
High-power users, hardware enthusiasts and gamers seeking Gen 5x4 performance will benefit from the 2TB capacity and peak throughput. Systems limited to PCIe 4.0 or earlier cannot utilise the full bandwidth, so buyers on older platforms should consider a Gen 4 alternative. Laptops or compact boards with strict thermal limits may also need a pre-fitted heatsink.
The PCI-Express 5.0 x4 interface and NVMe 2.0 protocol require a compatible M.2 slot wired for Gen 5 speeds; without that slot the drive will fall back to lower generations and you will not see the advertised 14700 MBps read or 14000 MBps write figures.

Insert the M.2 2280 card into a PCI-Express 5.0 x4 slot at a slight angle, press down, and secure it with the motherboard screw. The step many miss is checking that the slot runs at Gen 5.0 x4 so the NVMe 2.0 controller can reach the 14 700 MBps read ceiling.
No scheduled maintenance is required; the 3D NAND media handles wear internally. Replacement only becomes necessary if the drive exceeds its write endurance or if a firmware update cannot resolve a detected error.
The sequential write ceiling of 14 000 MBps is reached before the 14 700 MBps read limit, so prolonged large-file transfers will hit the write throughput boundary first.
