Compact business desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny is a micro-form-factor desktop built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor running up to 4.1 GHz. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory, a 512 GB M.2 SSD for the operating system and a 1 TB hard drive for bulk storage. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed, and a USB keyboard and mouse are included in the box.

Dual-drive storage and wireless dongle

The M.2 SSD plus 1 TB hard-drive combination lets the system boot quickly while keeping large files on the secondary drive. A USB Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle provides 5 GHz-capable wireless connectivity where internal Wi-Fi is not fitted. A DVD-ROM drive handles legacy optical media.

Micro chassis limits expandability

The Tiny chassis uses DIMM 240-pin slots for memory and supports up to 32 GB of DDR4, but internal drive bays and PCIe slots are not available in this form factor. Graphics rely on Intel UHD Graphics integrated into the processor, so the system is not suited for workloads that need discrete GPU acceleration. Buyers who need more storage bays or add-in cards should consider a larger form factor.
