The laptop has one Thunderbolt 3 port and one HDMI 1.4b output. Both support 1920 x 1080 resolution. The Thunderbolt 3 port is backward compatible with USB 3.0 docks, so your existing dock will work for video and data.

How can I verify the 40 GB DDR4 2666 configuration is active after first boot?

Open Task Manager > Performance > Memory. It will show 40 GB total, DDR4, 2666 MHz speed, and 1 of 1 slot used, confirming the 8 GB onboard plus 32 GB module are both recognised.

Aside from the laptop and AC adapter, do I need to buy a microSD card or Nano-SIM tray separately?
