The Lenovo ThinkPad T480 or T490 is a 14.0 inch Full HD touchscreen ultrabook powered by an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8250U quad-core processor with 1.6 GHz base speed and 6 MB L2 cache. It ships with 16 GB DDR4 memory, a 256 GB SSD and Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday visual tasks.

Thermals, noise and power draw

The ultrabook ships with an OEM 45 W or 65 W AC adapter, indicating modest power requirements in normal use. Integrated graphics and a low-voltage processor keep heat output and fan noise low during typical office workloads. No discrete GPU means quieter operation and lower sustained power draw.

Build quality and connectivity

Grade A cosmetic condition units show excellent to very good appearance with only light scratches possible.
