The Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a 14.0-inch business laptop with a Full HD IPS panel at 1920 x 1080. It runs on an Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor with a base frequency of 1.70 GHz and a maximum turbo of 3.60 GHz. The system ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Ports and connectivity in daily use

Two USB Type-C ports support Power Delivery, DisplayPort output and data transfer. Two USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A ports are included, one of which remains powered when the laptop is off. An HDMI output, Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth 4.1 handle external displays and wireless peripherals. Straightforward setup with one hardware limit

The AC adapter and Windows licence are in the box, so first boot only requires a network connection for updates. Memory is soldered to the board, preventing any RAM upgrade beyond the factory 32 GB. Storage uses an M.2 slot that accepts SATA or NVME drives if more capacity is needed later. The non-touch display avoids digitiser faults but removes pen input.
