The Lenovo ThinkPad T480s is a new 14.0" laptop built around an Intel Core i5-8250U running at 1.60 GHz with a 3.40 GHz turbo. It ships with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 128 GB SSD, and the operating system is Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. The matte IPS panel shows 1920 x 1080 resolution without touch input.

Thunderbolt 3 over USB-C at 40 Gbps

The single Thunderbolt 3 port delivers up to 40 Gbps of bandwidth, four times the data rate and twice the video bandwidth of other USB-C implementations while also supplying power. Bluetooth 4.1 handles short-range peripherals. The four USB ports provide legacy connectivity, but the Thunderbolt link is the only high-speed expansion path for docks or external GPUs.

MIL-SPEC tested chassis with fingerprint reader
