What the bundle changes

The single pack ships without the required wireless controller, so the fan cannot light up or be speed-managed until that separate unit is purchased and powered via SATA. If you already own a UNI FAN TL or SL triple-pack controller, or the PW24-1W-T kit, you can reuse it instead of buying another.
