The LSI SAS9300-16E is a 16-channel host bus adapter built around the LSISAS3008 processor. It connects up to sixteen SAS or SATA drives through four external 36-pin Mini MultiLane ports. The card targets servers and workstations that need high-density external storage connectivity.
