Caseta plug-in lamp dimmer for LED bulbs

This Lutron smart plug dims up to 100 W of dimmable LED or CFL lamps and 300 W of incandescent or halogen loads. It plugs into a standard outlet and requires a Caseta Smart Hub, sold separately, to enable app, voice and schedule control. The package includes one dimmer unit and a Pico remote for wireless on/off and dimming from anywhere in the room.

Load capacity and limits

The dimmer handles LED and CFL bulbs up to 100 W and incandescent or halogen bulbs up to 300 W, giving headroom for multiple lamps on a single circuit. It is not rated for low-voltage track or landscape lighting, and it cannot drive motor loads or appliances beyond the stated wattage limits.

Smart hub dependency

All smart features — app control, voice assistants, scheduling, geofencing and Smart Away — are locked until a Caseta Smart Hub is added to the system. Without the hub the device functions only as a manual plug-in dimmer with the included Pico remote.
