Sustained behaviour

The aluminium shell acts as a heatsink for the drive and the RTL9210B chipset during long transfers. Real-world throughput tops out at 10 Gbps with NVMe media and 6 Gbps with SATA media, limited by the host port and SSD capability rather than the enclosure itself.
