Compatibility and purpose

This aluminium enclosure is built for Raspberry Pi 3B+, 3B and 2B single-board computers. It provides a passive cooling solution that removes the need for an active fan, making it suitable for quiet or dust-sensitive deployments. The board itself is not included.

Thermal behaviour under load

A heatsink pillar integrated into the lid contacts the CPU through the supplied thermal pads, spreading heat across the entire metal chassis. This design handles sustained workloads without a moving part, so temperatures remain stable during long-running tasks.

Build and daily use

The case is machined from aluminium alloy and includes four thermal tapes cut for the different CPU heights of the supported boards. All ports, the GPIO header and the microSD slot remain accessible while the board is mounted. Screws for securing the assembly are provided.
